So none are confused, this is the only way to actually submit a demo to Winter Solace and get it even listened to. I am very particular about the bands I work with, as numerous bad experiences in the past have forced this need.

Winter Solace is looking to work with Folklore, Political, Pagan & NS Black Metal/Ambient projects. If you don't like these things in black metal, I am not the label for you. Other ideologies of black metal are considered but usually held to even greater scrutiny. Only tape releases are being planned, in small limited numbers. (100-200 at the most, 300 for special cases)

Demo Submission Guidelines.

1. YOUR DEMO MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA SNAIL MAIL (E-MAIL FOR ADDRESS), MP3'S MYSPACE, OTHER SUCH SHIT IS NEVER ACCEPTED. A SERIOUS BAND SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS DOING THIS! I DON'T CARE IF IT COSTS A FORTUNE OR TAKES FOREVER TO GET HERE, IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR WORK SPENDING MONEY TO DISTRIBUTE IT SHOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE. IF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS, BOTHER ME WHILE IT IS IN TRANSIT OR OTHERWISE WHINE OVER IT I WILL TOSS IT IN THE GARBAGE WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT IT! (Note: Demo Materials aren't going to be mailed back to you, in the event it doesn't work out)

2. All bands are required to answer an extremely long list of questions regarding there work. Failure to provide this, or answer these questions will not get you a release. (A color band photo of some nature is also welcomed, but not required).

3. I will not do reissues of tapes released on other labels unless it is extremely old, or the distribution was inferior/non-existent.

4. Numerous different e-mails in the span of hours is not welcomed, if the submission is serious I will respond, however I do have a day job & studies so some delays will occur.

5. If it appears as though you just added me to some random mailing list, or some mass mail it will be ignored, I will mark it is as spam if it is a constant occurrence.

6. Bands involved with WS should actually answer there e-mails more then once a month.
